Honey Bun Cake

A delicious blend of warm cinnamon, brown sugar and buttery vanilla flavors. This may sound like a morning coffee cake but I promise, it's terrific any time of day! Make sure you have a cold glass of milk on standby.

Mix in a Bowl:
1 box yellow cake mix (I prefer Betty Crocker)
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
¾ cup canola oil
1 tsp. vanilla

In a Small Bowl, Mix:
1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 Tbs. ground cinnamon
Pinch salt

Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
4-6 Tbs. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions
Preheat oven to 350.  Spray a glass 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray.
  1. Mix together the first group of ingredients. Mix up the brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  2. Pour half the batter in the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle on ALL of the brown sugar mix, evenly.
  3. Add the remaining batter to the top. (My top batter didn't cover edge to edge and it was fine.)
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.

While the cake is baking, make the glaze. When the cake comes out of the oven, add the glaze to the hot cake. Let cool for a bit, then eat while still warm!
